Say No To Laser Surgery!

traffic_ussign27.gif  Dr Joe Ross, and all his associates, all who have and do practice here, do NOT recommend laser surgery.  Each of us has been trained and certified in the pre and post op care.  Yet we have chosen not to participate in this very profitable process.  We have done so because we do not believe in damaging healthy tissue to create a temporary and risky benefit.  If you went to a foot doctor because one leg was too short and he suggested you have an inch or two cut off your good leg (rather than have a small lift put in your shoe),  hopefully you would leave quickly.  Laser surgery for nearsightedness does just this!  Your eye is too long (and they cannot fix it) so they distort your cornea by cutting and burning it with a laser to act as a contact lens. Now you have TWO physical damages. Learn below why this makes no sense to your long term eye health.
